I am on a business trip to Deerfield, Illinois. I finally arrived at Marriott Residence Inn in the middle of the night after a long 24 hours of flight.

It is exciting because I can see piles of snow everywhere. It is cold here.

Taipei - Ximending (西门町)

This is Taipei's Ximending. It is almost equivalent to Singapore's Bugis Street. It is a great hangout place for teenagers.


There are many bubble tea houses like this on the streets of Ximending. They are trendy, cool and look more like a pub than a bubble tea house.

Taipei - Rosemary Hotel

We stayed in a 3 star hotel in Taipei. In Taipei, there are many hotels like this. It isn't too bad, the condition of the rooms are quite good. They serve good home made taiwan style breakfast too!
