Hong Kong Stay at Marriott Courtyard Sha Tin

We stayed at Hong Kong Marriott Courtyard Sha Tin for the first two days.

The hotel was away from the busy and buzzing city and the only nearest mall was the New Town Plaza which was around 10 minutes taxi ride.

I like the serenity of the environment.

Mei County - Yearning Tea Plantation

During Chinese New Year, I had the chance to travel to Yanyang Town of Meixian County for a short holiday.

Here is the refreshing wonderful view of the tea plantation.
Tea Plantation

We stayed at the villas inside Yearning Vacation Village. This is the area in our room where we can sit together to sip Chinese tea.

The hotel lobby building is round, looking a-like to those traditional Hakka round houses. This is in fact the dining area and hotel lobby.

Urban Retreat - Pricey Thai Massage but Excellent

Urban Retreat is conveniently located opposite Terminal 21. It is just opposite across the road.

I consider it as one of the more expensive massage in Bangkok. However, they offer excellent massage services. The old lady that provided my massage service applied enough strength and pressure. My muscles and joints were well loosen and you feel relaxed after the massage.

You have to make advance booking via their website before arrival. It seems that Urban Retreat is also quite popular with Singaporeans and tourists.

I tried the Oriental Massage package which includes
40 min Foot Massage
10 min Head and Shoulder Massage
70 min Thai Massage with Herbal Compress Balls

Bangkok Terminal 21 - Shopping Mall

Bangkok Terminal is a modern lifestyle mall. Here, you can find gifts, clothings, accessories, toys, home decor and much more. I feel this mall is targeted for the more younger crowd.

Every floor of the mall, you can find a different theme. From New York, London, Japan to Istanbul styled theme etc.

Bangkok Getaway - Day 1 Arrival at Princess Pathumwan (14th Jan to 18th Jan 2015)

I went for a short getaway trip to Bangkok.

I booked the Hotel Suite in Princess Pathumwan at a promotional price of $148++ per night. I choose Princess Pathumwan because it is conveniently situated beside MBK (Ma Boon Khrong) shopping mall.

The room was clean and spacious.
